Monster Munchers
My interactive bulletin board compliments my unit on energy. One of the interactive components is a game called Monster Munchers. Students are to place energy pictures into the envelope of the correct monster. There is an energy picture and an envelop for all of the forms of energy this unit addresses, except for nuclear energy.
Puzzle Pieces
Another interactive component is the fact that the headings are actually puzzle pieces.

I also added some question students can flip to see the correct answer.

I added some removable toys like this bouncy ball so that students can discover different properties.

Energy Gobblers
How to Play:
These energy gobblers LOVE to eat up as much energy as they can. But they can only eat a certain kind of energy. Pull different kinds of energy from the treat jar and place it into the mouth of the correct gobbler.
Kinetic Lab
How to Play:
Scientists are trying to store kinetic energy in special jars. But they are having a very hard time. Please help the scientists by placing the different forms of kinetic energy into the correct jars. They will be very happy if you do.
Potential Package
How to Play:
Scientists are trying to place different kinds of potential energy in special boxes. Please help the scientists by placing the different forms of potential energy into the correct boxes.

Flying Energy Gobblers have stolen different forms of energy. The rescue crew is trying to save the energy by taking it back. Can you help the energy crew by putting the energy on the right plane?
Coaster Poster
How to Play:
Use the key on the board to choose a card after each move. Try to get matches of energy cards and a question cards. For every match, collect the coaster parts you’ve earned. If you reach the coaster crown before you have built a complete coaster, you have to go back to the beginning. The first person to reach the coaster crown with a completed coaster wins.
